IT Project Manager (Contractor)

Role Overview

Legend Biotech is looking for a person who can oversee IT infrastructure projects, focusing on Windows 11 deployments, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), Nutanix and Rubrik backup solutions being deployed using his / her PM hat and create dependencies depicting in Gantt charts, following up on tasks with other colleagues in Infrastructure, Applications and Security. The person will also backfill when needed to run Daily Production Call and run Change Management CAB call weekly utilizing Service Now when the primary owner is not available. Expertise in MS Project, Excel & PowerPoint a must. PMP, Agile, Service Now certifications or ITIL framework certification desired. Position will be based out of Somerset at least 4 days a week with occasional travel to Raritan or Piscataway. The base location will be at 2101 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873

Key Responsibilities  

• Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead the implementation and migration to Windows 11 across enterprise environments.
  • Manage hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) projects, ensuring optimal scalability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Rubrik backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Manage network refresh.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management (follow up with VMO for Aravo and Security for TPRM).
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage relationships with technology partners and service providers for HCI and Rubrik implementations.
• Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track project progress, manage budgets, and report on key milestones.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
