This position is responsible for executing strategic projects aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Salesforce commercial lending platform. The individual collaborates closely with line of business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to elicit, capture, and translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications. This role plays a key part in optimizing system functionality and driving continuous improvement across commercial lending processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery and deep dive sessions to understand and document current state workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement in commercial lending operations.
  • Document current and future state processes using process flow diagrams and other design tools to support system enhancements.
  • Facilitate brainstorming and solution design meetings with business users and technology teams, providing thought leadership and strategic insight.
  • Serve as the voice of the end users, ensuring that system functionality aligns with business needs and delivers value.
  • Act as a subject matter expert throughout the development lifecycle, from project inception through implementation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements, expanding user stories and conveying appropriate detail to development teams.
  • Write acceptance criteria and test scripts to validate new functionality during development and release cycles.
  • Conduct system dependency analysis to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Manage testing coordination, execution, and sign-off, including hands-on testing and delegation to appropriate team members.
  • Support change management activities, including documentation and communication planning.
  • Assist in backlog prioritization and influence the broader product roadmap to maximize business value.
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to maintain transparency on project progress and deliverables.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

Experience

  • 2–3 years in financial services, with a strong focus on commercial lending
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce applications, ideally within a lending context

Skills

  • Deep understanding of commercial lending processes, onboarding, and servicing
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Clouds and Tools (e.g., Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics)
  • Experience in project management or leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong grasp of system testing concepts
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Work Environment
  • Hybrid (2+ days onsite)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000 to $122,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
