But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. We are seeking an IT Procurement Analyst!
What You’ll Do:
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies through the RFx process.
- Develop and negotiate contracts with new IT suppliers and/or renegotiate existing contracts to accomplish the lowest total system cost and savings objectives.
- Responsible for creating cost estimates and expenditure forecasts related to company's procurement.
- Evaluate sourcing procedures and present improvement strategies to senior management for approval.
- Deliver and manage the request for proposal (RFP) process for assigned categories or sourcing engagements.
- Develop strategies to improve the enterprises' cost structure.
- Optimize external spending through early involvement in the sourcing life cycle developed through a strong partnership with business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to aggregate enterprise demand to drive value.
- Demonstrate strong business judgment, integrity, financial acumen and project management skills.
- Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and implement supplier agreements by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions.
The Right Fit:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience negotiating with IT suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Intermediate MS Office Skills, (especially Excel).
- Must work US hours (PST or EST)
