Summary:
In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide IT process improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence, delivery effectiveness, and organizational efficiency. You will partner with IT and client stakeholders to assess, design, implement, and optimize scalable processes that support strategic business objectives. You will leverage Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to improve service delivery, increase transparency, reduce waste, and enhance quality across the IT organization. As a trusted advisor and change agent, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement, process discipline, and data-driven decision making while enabling sustainable transformation across a complex portfolio of technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the IT process improvement strategy to drive simplification, standardization, and scalability across the organization.
- Analyze current-state processes and design future-state models that improve efficiency, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Establish and maintain standardized, repeatable processes, methodologies, and best practices that increase predictability and reduce operational variability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, 5 Whys, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Facilitate process improvement workshops, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and retrospectives.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness and improvement impact.
- Establish governance frameworks that promote process adherence, transparency, accountability, and quality controls.
- Drive adoption of new processes through change management, training, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Leverage data, analytics, and technology platforms to identify improvement opportunities, optimize workflows, and enable automation.
- Build communities of practice and provide guidance on process management, governance, and continuous improvement best practices.
- Partner with senior IT and business leaders to align process improvement initiatives with strategic priorities and operational excellence objectives.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred. Advance degree in Business Management, Information Management, Project Management or related discipline is a plus.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred with demonstrated application of Lean Six Sigma principles or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience utilizing structured improvement methodologies including Lean, PDCA, 5 Whys, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement frameworks highly preferred.
- Expertise in current-state and future-state process mapping, process redesign, and workflow optimization.
- Experience developing swimlane diagrams, process documentation, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience developing process performance metrics, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data-driven improvement strategies.
- Strong change management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
