Job Description

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Deploy & Manage – Oversee the rollout of AECOM’s Secure Azure Enclave, integrating cutting-edge security tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Ensure Compliance – Maintain strict adherence to DISP Level 1, ASD Essential Eight, ISM PROTECTED and IRAP security requirements.
• Drive Security Operations – Perform security audits, manage incident response and oversee continuous threat monitoring using SIEM tools.
• Lead Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as the bridge between AECOM IT, Defence stakeholders and cybersecurity partners to maintain world-class security standards.

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.  

What are we looking for from you?  

• Experience in Cloud Security, Azure Security, or IT Operations Management. 
• Defence or Government experience desirable. 
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, CISSP (highly desirable), CCSP, IRAP Assessor (desirable), or ISO27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous. 
• Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance
