Job Responsibilities:
• Provides consultative advice within specific functional areas, working independently to analyze and address complex IT challenges while offering expert guidance to stakeholders.
• Evaluates and redesigns business processes, making informed proposals for process re-engineering and IT solutions that align with organizational goals and drive operational improvements.
• Implements required IT solutions, including thorough testing, comprehensive training for end-users, and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery.
• Leads the design of solutions that meet intricate business requirements, recognizing and addressing the impacts on inter-related systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Participates in scrum teams to realize end-to-end technology solutions, contributing to all phases of the development cycle and ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.
• Collaborates with DevOps teams to manage operational activities, including addressing incidents, managing Maintenance Event Coordination (MEC), Year-End Coordination (YEC), and handling service catalogues efficiently.
• Builds and maintains active networks with key contacts inside and outside the organization, staying abreast of new developments, insights, and best practices in the field to enhance organizational capabilities.
• Ensures all aspects of design, documentation, and SLA support are in compliance with industry standards, organizational guidelines, and regulatory requirements to uphold the integrity and reliability of IT solutions.
• Provides clear direction and guidance to scrum teams in designing end-to-end solutions, driving continuous improvements across standards, guidelines, and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Identifies and establishes monitoring for critical end-to-end business processes in collaboration with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Business Process Experts (BPEs), ensuring robust oversight and proactive issue resolution.
• Works under limited supervision and broad guidelines, regularly applying independent judgment on matters of significance to drive project success and compliance.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized premier institution of repute.
Minimum required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain Management (8+ years if holding a Master’s degree).
- Minimum 8 years in BlueYonder (6+ years if holding a Master’s degree) with a primary focus on Demand Planning.
- Min. 2 greenfield implementation in BY Demand 360 as a Functional or Solutions consultant, including statistical forecasting and exposure to AI/ML based Cognitive Demand Planning.
- Additional experience with Inventory optimization is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of functional integration with ESP, Forecast Netting and IO is required.
- Hands-on experience of conducting Blueprinting sessions, Solution Design and independently configuring the solution for respective module of Demand 360.
- Ability to write basic SQL queries and explain requirements to developers for technical development.
- Experience as functional consultant is mandatory. Candidates with experience only as key users or technical consultants (PL/SQL, support, technical administration or upgrade) need not apply.
- Candidates shall be experienced in lifecycle phases using waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Education:
- MBA/PGDBA with specialization in Operations, Supply Chain Management or related discipline from a premier institute OR
- MS/M.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics or related discipline.
Preferred Experience:
- Past experience of Integration using any technology is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge or functional understanding of logistics module of SAP ERP.
Preferred Certification:
APICS certification like CSCP or CPIM.
