We are seeking an IT/OT Support Engineer with strong hands-on capabilities and a passion for operational excellence to join our team at Spanish Gateways (Barcelona).
About the RoleAs an IT/OT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, performance, and reliability of our local IT and OT infrastructure. You will provide frontline support in a dynamic terminal environment and collaborate with both regional and global teams to maintain and improve our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Office applications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure (datacenter racks, cabling, networking, servers).
- Support IT/OT systems including CCTV, biometric access systems, OCR equipment, and Vehicle Mounted Terminals.
- Assist with incident resolution and change implementation within agreed SLAs.
- Contribute to IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, deployments, and system enhancements.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams for hands-on support and knowledge sharing.
- Degree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Knowledge of VMware, networking, and communications (CISCO certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred).
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work onsite in rotating daytime shifts (06:00–20:30).
