Are you ready to unlock intelligence?
If you don’t think you meet all of the criteria below but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box - we’re looking for candidates that are particularly strong in a few areas, and have some interest and capabilities in others.
About The Role:
Kong's Milan office is growing fast — from a handful of people to dozens across engineering, R&D, and operations — and this role is what keeps it running day to day.
You'll be the hands-on IT presence on the ground: setting up a new hire's laptop before their first day, keeping Wi-Fi and access working without drama, and being the first call when something breaks
You'll report to the IT Director, who leads IT Operations globally, and join a small, distributed team that's covering EMEA, India and Americas
You will be the only one physically in Milan, which means real ownership over how the office runs
This role sits at the intersection of IT support, systems administration, and light security operations — comfortable with a help-desk ticket one hour and a firewall or DNS issue the next
What You’ll Do:
Own day-to-day IT support for the Milan office: device lifecycle (order, ship, enroll, retire),
Zoom room/AV setup, and hands-on troubleshooting across Mac, Windows and mobile.
Administer core tools — Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom — handling onboarding/offboarding, access, licensing and security settings.
Manage endpoints via MDM (Intune or similar) and keep an eye on endpoint security (CrowdStrike or equivalent EDR).
Get hands-on with network and infrastructure basics — firewall, Wi-Fi, DNS — so we're not dependent on outside vendors when something goes down.
Work tickets in our ITSM tool (Freshservice/ServiceNow-style), prioritizing by real business impact and keeping SLAs tight.
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years in IT support/operations;
Hands-on Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom; solid MDM experience (Iru is great — Intune/Jamf also fine);
Genuine network/systems admin exposure (Wi-Fi, firewall, DNS);
ITSM ticketing experience;
Fluent professional English.
Nice-to-have: Okta/Jamf-style certifications; experience automating recurring ticket workflows to cut down manual work.
