Job Description
- Responsible role within the BMLP & TOM program for the design and development of a standardized, strategic IT operating model for all production plants worldwide.
- Analyze IT solutions, develop monitoring and operating concepts with other stakeholders.
- Support and Consulting within automated monitoring deployment processes
- Close collaboration within worldwide distributed teams, e.g. Germany, India, China…
- Commercial planning and implementation of the services offered
- Quality management measures (e.g. 8D reports, KPI dashboards)
- Continuous improvement and adaptation of IT operating concepts and automation
Qualifications
- Personality: High degree of self-motivation, quality awareness and sense of responsibility.
- Way of working: Fun working with cross-location teams, independent and proactive work.
- Experience and know-how:
- Relevant experience in the operation of IT services, ideally in the monitoring of IT services, handling of cloud-based services.
- Kubernetes and Docker, Messaging Services (Kafka, RabbitMQ), relational and nonrelational Database Services (Oralce, InfluxDB, MongoDB), RestFul API’s
- Qualification: You are familiar with knowledge of IT service processes (ITIL) and Industry 4.0
- Applications Deployment, Application Monitoring by Configuring Infra Monitoring Tools (ICINGA, AppDynamics, NewRelic & ELK)
- Network infrastructure, Firewall, Load balancing setup, and Security implementation
- Enthusiasm: Application Performance Management (APM), log monitoring, dashboards, event management and cloud are more than just terms for you.
- Language: Very good English skills
- Education: Successfully completed studies (University) with a focus on computer science, IT technologies or business informatics
