About the roleWe’re looking for an IT Operations Analyst to join our Technology team in Sydney.
Our Technology team enables every part of Stake to operate at its best. We build and maintain the systems, tools and foundations that allow our teams to move quickly, collaborate effectively and deliver exceptional experiences. As Stake continues to grow, the importance of scalable, secure and reliable internal operations only increases.
As an IT Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in building the operational backbone of the business. You’ll own and continuously improve the technology environment that supports our people, systems and workflows, ensuring it remains secure, reliable and efficient. You’ll partner with teams across the business to streamline processes, improve the employee experience and help Stake scale with confidence.
We work in a hybrid model, spending three days a week in our beautiful, dog-friendly Sydney office.
What success looks like- You’ve established yourself as a trusted owner of Stake’s workplace technology environment, ensuring systems are reliable, secure and operating to a high standard
- You’ve improved operational efficiency through automation, process optimisation and thoughtful tooling decisions that remove friction across the business
- You’ve strengthened identity, access and device management practices while maintaining a seamless employee experience
- You’ve increased visibility and operational maturity across key IT services through improved monitoring, reporting and service management
- You’ve built scalable onboarding, offboarding and device lifecycle processes that support a growing global team
- You’ve partnered with Security, People and Technology teams to deliver initiatives that improve resilience, compliance and operational readiness
- You’ve reduced operational risk by proactively identifying issues, strengthening controls and improving documentation
- You’ve fostered a culture of continuous improvement where technology operations are recognised as a strategic business enabler
- Have experience managing modern workplace technology environments across SaaS platforms, endpoint management and identity systems
- Enjoy building operational excellence and finding ways to make systems more scalable, reliable and efficient
- Bring strong problem-solving skills and can confidently navigate ambiguity while maintaining momentum
- Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Balance pragmatism with quality, making thoughtful decisions that support immediate priorities and long-term outcomes
- Take ownership, move with urgency and care deeply about delivering a great employee experience
- Worked in a fast-growing technology, fintech or regulated environment
- Led or contributed to IT automation and workflow improvement initiatives
- Managed platforms such as JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Atlassian or similar enterprise tools
- Supported security, compliance or audit programs, including ISO 27001 or SOC 2
