We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Operations Analyst I to join our team with a focus on Technical Asset Management and Telecom Operations. This role involves managing IT and telecom assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organizational standards. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Technical Asset Management:
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT and telecom assets, from procurement to decommissioning.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate asset inventory for hardware, software, and telecom equipment.
- Develop and enforce policies for asset allocation, usage, and disposal to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate optimal pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
Telecom Operations:
- Oversee telecom infrastructure, including VoIP systems, mobile devices, and enterprise communication tools.
- Monitor telecom network performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement timely solutions.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate and recommend telecom technologies to align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in IT operations or a related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with current Windows and Office versions; Macintosh experience is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience in hardware provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
WHAT THE JOB REQUIRES:
- Work is primarily conducted in an office setting. Requires sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods. Involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
- Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Minimal physical effort in the day-to-day tasks
- Requires the ability to work Monday through Friday. Entails in-person office requirements for a minimum of 4 days per the Company's hybrid policy, located at Essex's corporate office in Irvine.

New hires generally start between $24.50 - $29.09 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.Skills Required
