We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to provide day-to-day IT support, maintain network infrastructure, ensure system security, and support business applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. The role also involves basic cloud administration, cybersecurity support, IT asset management, documentation, and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and automate routine tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, MacBooks, printers, email, internet, and other end-user devices.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Support users with Microsoft 365, ERP, HRMS, Power BI, HubSpot, Salesforce/Shopify, and online meeting platforms.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches, access points, and VoIP/IP phone systems.
- Perform first-level support for Android and iOS devices, including email and application configuration.
- Assist with server room maintenance, UPS monitoring, cabling, and basic server monitoring/restarts.
- Support basic administration of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors for IT-related issues.
- Monitor antivirus and endpoint security solutions and ensure systems remain updated.
- Manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts, access rights, and password resets.
- Support backup verification, endpoint management, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Power Automate, Excel AI, and Claude AI to automate routine tasks, prepare reports, and improve productivity.
- Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, warranties, and asset lifecycle records.
- Record incidents and resolutions through the organization's ticketing system.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, onboarding/offboarding documentation, and IT setup guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or System Administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and provide timely user support.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
