The IT Network System Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the network infrastructure of the organization. This role involves leading a team of network and security professionals to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's network and servers. The Team Lead will design, implement, and maintain Cloud servers monitor performance, monitor network traffic for unusual activity, and respond to security breaches or network incidents. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with other IT and business units to maintain the IT systems environment.


About The Role:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network and systems professionals.
  • Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance.
  • Be 70% hands-on and 30% management.
  • Collaborate with IT management to align security initiatives with business goals.
  • Work together with Security teams on different projects and systems. 

Network & Servers Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage Org network systems like switches, AP’s, including firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, proxy and other network security appliances.
  • Monitor network traffic and analyze alerts to identify and respond to issues.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Network\Systems Incident Response:

  • Lead the response to network or Server incidents, including detection, containment, and recovery.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners during network incidents.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network standards, security trends, technologies, and threats.
  • Recommend and implement new network tools, technologies, and processes to enhance network stability. 
  • Manage the cloud infrastructure, and services in the best possible way.
  • Implement new systems and tools to enhance security for the organization. 
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on network best practices.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of network security architecture, policies, and procedures followed by security teams. 
  • Provide recommendations for improving network infrastructure based on analysis and trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in network security, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
  • At least 4+ years of proven experience in a System Administration position.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Switches, AP, Wireless configuration, and other security technologies.
  • Experience in networking- install\maintain network components like switches, Wi-Fi equipment, and firewalls - advantage Meraki\Paloalto.
  • Experience with a Cloud environment, build, maintenance, and support - advantage AWS\GCP.
  • Experience managing Backup\DR systems.
  • Experience with SasS applications such as – Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
  • Experience managing, securing, and maintaining Windows\Linux servers.
  • Knowledge and experience with monitoring SaaS applications.
  • Experience with Device management systems such as Jamf and Intune.
  • Proven Experience with scripting and automation workflows - Advantage Workato
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in end-to-end project management on a large scale / cross-company
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incidents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in Hebrew and English
