The IT Network Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring, managing and optimizing networking equipment and protocols such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage data and voice networking infrastructure to support business services and applications used by North Fork Mono Casino.
- Deploy and manage network/systems cyber security solutions.
- Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks.
- Work independently within a self-organized team, providing input and feedback in a helpful manner to IT Management.
- Address and resolve platform performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support platforms in a production environment.
- Understand and implement Company and department standards.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, ISIS and/or OSPF.
- Ability to configure and maintain the properties virtual and physical server environment, as well as configure virtual machines to meet vendor requirements and ensure hypervisors are in a resilient state.
- Ability to properly configure and maintain system backups and provide testing and reports on RTO/RPO.
- Ability to configure and maintain Microsoft domain. Must have experience with Print Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO and certificate management.
- Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto Firewalls and Global Protect, Infoblox, Aruba Wireless and Clearpass, F5 Big-IP LTM & Central Management, Solarwinds, and Microsof Azure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

- Bachelor's degree in technology related field required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable expertise in at least three networking products required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications applications and other support applications in customer service orientated environment.
- Experienced with a number of systems. Subject Matter Expert in at least one area or system. Working knowledge of a number of other areas of specialization.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Full time on site in Madera, CA.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, transport and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work may be performed alone or with others in an area sensitive to public access. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may include irregular hours, workload and priority changes

Skills Required

What We Do
North Fork Mono Casino & Resort is a new entertainment destination opening in Fall 2026 in Madera, California, on Highway 99. The resort will feature over 2,400 slot machines, 40 table games, and eight dining options, including two full-service restaurants and six quick-serve venues, serving as a hub for gaming and hospitality in the Central Valley.
