We're looking for a motivated IT Network & Systems Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in enterprise networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and IT operations. What You'll Gain

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure and server environments
- Support installation and integration of server hardware, software, and enterprise applications
- Assist in the administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account management
- Support VMware/Hyper-V virtualized environments and cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure
- Monitor network performance and help identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Assist with network security initiatives, firewall administration, VPN connectivity, and cybersecurity best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end users
- Assist with maintaining documentation, network standards, and IT procedures
- Participate in technology rollouts, upgrades, and special IT projects
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and security
- Support third-party applications and enterprise systems as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless networking, and DNS
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, Cisco networking equipment, or Fortinet solutions is a plus
- Interest in systems administration, cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as within a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow technical skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Experience with network administration, homelab projects, classroom labs, or personal technology projects
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPN technologies, backup solutions, or server hardware
- Exposure to scripting, automation, PowerShell, or cloud platforms
- Participation in student technology organizations, cybersecurity competitions, or IT-related projects
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
