Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to oversee and manage our organization's IT network infrastructure. This role involves maintaining hardware and software systems, managing incidents and changes, and supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure network availability and performance, coordinating repair actions with local teams.
Configure, update, and manage network and firewall devices, policies, and rules.
Monitor network systems to maintain optimal performance and security.
Analyze and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Conduct daily performance reviews and maintain accurate documentation for compliance.
Enforce information security policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage secure configurations and changes across networks, firewalls, hardware, systems, and mobile devices.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, equipment, and software for network development.
Maintain IT infrastructure in logistics environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Recommend and contribute to improvements in network security.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance, patching, and upgrades for network devices and systems.
Perform incident and change management activities.
Manage logistics for IT equipment and support onboarding/offboarding processes.
Respond to and follow up on ticket requests, escalating when necessary.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of the OSI Model and its application in network design and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in network protocols such as OSPF, RSVP/LDP, TCP/IP, RIP, VLANs, and Port Security.
Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewall configuration, and protocols like ICMP, ARP, and Port Security.
Proven ability to manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and cloud-based environments.
Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure services:
Active Directory (AD)
Domain Name System (DNS)
Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
Network Policy Server (NPS)
Certificate Authority (CA)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Atlassian products (e.g., Jira Service Management).
Certifications in virtualization, Windows Server, network infrastructure, ITIL, or other IT-related areas.
