Your Role:

The Microsoft Product Expert will focus on the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft products and solutions within the organization. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, who is also passionate about development and enhancing product usage across various platforms. The position will involve working closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and optimization of Microsoft solutions, providing both strategic insights and technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Lead and drive the adoption and development of Microsoft products, including Office 365, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring they are fully integrated into the organization’s workflows and IT ecosystem.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, efficient solutions using Microsoft technologies, ensuring they meet business needs while enhancing system performance and user experience.
  • Customization & Automation: Develop custom solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft tools to automate processes and improve operational efficiency across departments.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to optimize the use of Microsoft solutions, providing training and ongoing support to users at all levels of the organization.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth integration between Microsoft products and other enterprise systems, focusing on seamless data flow, security, and compliance.
  • Innovation: Continuously evaluate and introduce new Microsoft tools and features to improve productivity and collaboration within the organization.
  • Product Roadmap: Work with stakeholders to define the Microsoft product roadmap, aligning solutions with business goals and ensuring strategic alignment with future growth and technology initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the performance of Microsoft products, including usage analytics, and propose improvements based on feedback and usage patterns.
  • Documentation & Training: Create detailed product documentation, best practices guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions to ensure maximum product adoption and efficient use of Microsoft tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft products and technologies, with a focus on product development and customization.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint. Experience with cloud-based solutions and integration techniques.
  • Development Skills: At least 3 years of experience with software development, scripting, and automation using Microsoft technologies (e.g., PowerApps, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify solutions to enhance product performance and usability.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft products and solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, or other relevant certifications.
  • Solution Architecture: Proven experience in designing and architecting scalable and efficient Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Advanced Development Skills: Strong knowledge of advanced scripting and development within Microsoft ecosystems (e.g., PowerShell, .NET, C#, and Azure services).
  • Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies and services, particularly in Azure and Microsoft cloud solutions.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading product strategy discussions and influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Salary Range:

($140K-$170K DOE) plus benefits and incentive plans
