We’re looking for an IT Manager who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. This position oversees the administration and management of all IT infrastructure networks, systems, and software solutions. This is a hands-on position with a lot of responsibility and autonomy. Your job is to constantly assess the current IT landscape at Auterion and define the reasonable next steps while balancing cybersecurity risks, end-user experience, impact on business, feasibility, timeline, and cost.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Own and maintain IT infrastructure yourself and together with vendors that you help to select and evaluate
- Define and run secure processes around employee data access
- Work with the CTO and the engineering teams to uphold best practices where the engineering team uses the in-house infrastructure for product development and in the product itself
- Run education programs for our employees on topics of cybersecurity (such as phishing or endpoint security)
- Your work will initially mainly focus on our Zurich headquarters. However also depending on your risk assessments the work could be extended to our other sites
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Information Technology / Computer Information Systems / Computer Science / System Administration / Cyber Security or similar
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a system administrator; you have set up and maintained business-critical IT systems before.
- Hands-on experience in network infrastructure, VPN, identity & access management systems, and SAML logins for a cloud-based tool landscape.
- Proven track record of decision-making for IT projects under assessment of business, and operational security factors
- Proficiency working in diverse IT landscapes with Linux/Mac/Windows endpoints with a large engineering team using the infrastructure
- Understanding of cybersecurity theory and best practices and standards (such as ISO 27001)
- Any relevant additional personal certification/training in the area of system administration or cybersecurity is a plus
- CH/EU citizenship required
