General Purpose
This position is responsible for IT operations and processes provided through the Information technology department. Contributes to the strategic planning of Alpine Bank’s IT technology, operations, procedures and systems. Actual pay and Officer level will be commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Contributes to strategic planning and direction of Alpine Bank’s technology operations, including computer hardware, software, networking, virtualization, and telecommunication.
- Contributes to capital planning, budgeting, and vendor selection that support the department’s strategic objectives.
- Manages a multitude of departmental functions related to computer operations, networks, data, security, hardware, software, etc.
- Oversees enterprise architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities.
- Oversees troubleshooting and root cause analysis seeking to minimize downtime and service disruption.
- Monitors system availability and integrity against established performance standards.
- Monitors the flow of systems administration tasks through the department, directly assisting with complex or critical requests.
- Establishes, implements, and monitors departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
- Performs the full range of work assigned, and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:
- Leads and directs the work of teams and employees.
- Coaches staff, prepares and delivers performance evaluations.
- Develops customized career progression paths for direct reports.
Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

Education, Formal Training and/or Experience:
AVP – VP:
- Bachelor's degree, industry certifications, or 7 more years of equivalent experience.
- Preferred 3-6 years working in Information Technology, with supervisory experience.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Driver’s License is required.
VP – SVP:
- Bachelor's degree, industry certifications, or 7 more years of equivalent experience.
- Preferred 7-10 years working in Information Technology, with supervisory experience.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Driver’s License is required.
Working Conditions
Working Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and multifunction printers. After hours and weekend support will be required for systems changes and disaster recovery testing. Travel to conferences, meetings, and branch locations on a regular basis is necessary.

Starting Range of Pay is from $117,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year, depending on experience. Actual pay and Officer level will be commensurate with experience.
