Key Responsibilities
- IT Vendor Oversight & Optimization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managed service providers (MSPs) supporting infrastructure, end-user computing, applications, and security.
- With support from PE company, negotiate and manage vendor contracts to improve service quality and reduce costs.
- Monitor service delivery, ensuring accountability and performance metrics are met.
- Technology Roadmap & Governance
- Develop, communicate, and execute the IT roadmap aligned with company strategy.
- Establish IT processes, policies, and procedures to standardize operations across the newly integrated organization.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize and deliver IT initiatives.
- Infrastructure, Security & Project Management
- Oversee infrastructure health across servers, storage, networks, firewalls, and cloud services.
- Ensure cybersecurity practices are embedded in daily operations and vendor management.
- Lead efforts to consolidate email, collaboration, and infrastructure environments following acquisitions.
- End User & Business Application Support
- Provide escalation support for end-user technology needs (primarily via MSPs).
- Ensure effective support for business applications, including ERP and industry-specific systems.
- Promote user training, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Leadership & Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted partner to the executive team and a liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and clear communication.
- Provide leadership in integrating acquired companies into standard Microsoft infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in End User Support or related IT roles.
- Broad working knowledge of infrastructure domains (servers, storage, networking, firewalls, IT security).
- Experience managing or collaborating with MSPs and holding vendors accountable.
- Demonstrated success integrating acquired companies into a standardized Microsoft email and infrastructure environment.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to establish credibility with executives and staff at all levels.
- High integrity, maturity, and professionalism, with a strong drive to advance career into senior IT leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel monthly to company locations across the western U.S.
