IT Manager, Regional

IT Manager, Regional is responsible for managing day-to-day support of regional IT infrastructure environment, including implementation, maintenance and documentation of environment spanning across multiple facilities. Additionally, this person will provide support to Corporate IT Teams covering Windows Server infrastructure, Windows/Linux Desktop infrastructure, Network Operations, DevOps, WebAdmin, etc.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring a staff.
• Supporting local IT operations across multiple buildings within the region.
• Interfacing with vendors to resolve issues and/or identifying hardware / software upgrades or enhancements.
• Recommending / implementing “best practices” Information Security procedures.
• Creating and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of related technical experience
• Experience with a variety of network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, IDS/IPS etc.
• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems, and Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with production hardware, such as Zebra handhelds and printers, IoT devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Working knowledge of multi-layer switching concepts
• Experience with ethernet cable installation and termination, fiber optic experience a plus
• Experience with various network management, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools
• Strong communications and customer service skills required
• Ability to travel and participate in an on-call rotation
• Knowledge of VoIP PBX’s

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with complex and high client dense wireless environments, knowledge of Juniper Mist and Cisco wireless
• CCNP/CCIE certifications
