The IT Manager will oversee business initiatives related to trading and connectivity, manage IT projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance in the financial sector.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Work on new business initiatives such as Futures trading & connectivity, Wealth management, Self clearing. Closely work with business stakeholders, global IT, vendors on project management BRD(Business documents), tasks, tracking, setup of systems and related support.
- Work with external partiers and vendors for new products connectivity, Telecoms, NRI(Nomura), JPX(Japan exchange group), PTS venues, Jasdec, JSCC(Japan Securities Clearing Corporation) for connectivity, migration, and queries.
- Experience about Tokyo stock exchange trading, Future, Derivatives rules, regulations, and arrowhead connectivity setup. Support upgrades and migrations for exchange connectivity. Should be able to participate in market rehearsals, work in shifts and weekend for major testing and migration wherever required.
- Close work with global IT, developers, technical operations to setup application, network hardware and telecom setup, releases including server refresh, UAT and Prod environments, working with users and clients for certification tests and final go-live tests
- Regular communication and meeting with users, timely update on changes, releases, Jira tasks status, Incident management, write reports for business users and regulators on incidents.
- Support key compliance applications, participate and run annual BCP exercise, write audit or hearing reports for Securities Regulators & related partners (FSA, JSDA, SESC, JASDEC, etc…). Familiar with system risk and guidelines.
- Technology and Automation - work with global team to develop, maintain and optimize manual process. Leverage AI tools to identify and automate manual processes, improving efficiency across operations.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree, preferred if in field of Electronic or computers.
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Japanese or global equities, Future and Derivative, Self clearing system technology with good experience in business analysis of systems, products including production support and testing.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese (Native or equivalent , including reading/writing) and English (Business) are mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of Tokyo stock exchange, Arrowhead setup, Cash Equity business in DMA (direct market access)/Algorithms, Agency and Program Trading environment.
- Must know ORACLE (SQL queries) for data extraction and reports, Linux basic troubleshooting commands.
- Good and Preferred if knows VB, Python and automation/AI tools.
