About The Role

Picarro’s Infrastructure team is hiring a IT Manager to lead and improve IT support, security, and operations. You’ll oversee APAC & EMEA IT services, including device support, vendor and asset management, and process improvement, with a focus on leveraging AI to enhance efficiency. This role directly impacts employee productivity and satisfaction.
What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to enhance IT support and operations.
• Manage IT services like Microsoft 365 and security tools like Datadog, Vanta, Sophos, Twingate etc.
• Oversee IT communications, procurement, and asset tracking.
• Handle billing, vendor relationships, and system setups.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and SOPs.
• Provide IT support for EMEA & APAC (Switzerland, China, India).
• Build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Streamline onboarding/offboarding with HR.
• Improve IT infrastructure and adopt AI solutions.
•  Stay updated on trends to implement advanced IT practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• You have 7+ years of experience supporting and deploying Windows, MacOS, Linux systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a manager capacity.
• Providing technical support and solutions for company employees by monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT tickets, prioritizing issues with a security-first mindset.
• Experience with deploying, updating, optimizing, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac-based systems in a corporate environment leveraging SmartDeploy and other system management tools.
• Experience with configuration and management of SaaS solutions such as Okta, 1Password, Atera, Microsoft 365 administration, Zoom Meeting, Zoom Phone, MS Teams, Slack
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, VPN, Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server, VMware ESXI.
• Maintaining, updating, and creating accurate documentation and procedures for IT processes.
• Working knowledge of wireless access points, network cabling, network devices, data centers.
• Experience with end-point security and management solutions.
• Managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)/Two Factor Authentication (2FA), Single Sign On (SSO).

Good to Have

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA & Confluence Cloud.
• Familiarity with public and private cloud services.
• Skilled in leveraging AI to enhance IT services and security.
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated strong sense of integrity.
• Knowledge of scripting in PowerShell or apps script
• May require lifting or carrying equipment up to 20 kg.
