Strategic Leadership:

  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements and define technology or process-driven solutions that addresses the gaps.
  • Provide visionary leadership that aligns IT strategies with overall business objectives through development and execution of multi-year technical and business roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, processes, and procedures across IT organization to ensure robust, best-in-class and consistent IT application management.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders to create, refine, and drive the IT Development & Integration roadmap, DevOps, and implementation of the solutions.
  • Design and implement best-practice processes, data & reporting, compliance, and system integrations impacting the full software engineering lifecycle.

Solution Delivery:

  • Collaborate with PMO to deliver project objectives, timelines, prioritization, and implementation plans, ensuring cost effective, quality, and timely delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
  • Expand SAFe Agile solution and SRE development delivery methodology across the organization.
  • Accountable for overall technical decisions and utilization of end-to-end software development best practices including solution design, coding standards, integration, automation, quality assurance, and deployment.
  • Develop expansive library of automated test scripts and software APIs to expediate solution delivery
  • Partner with various stakeholders to select and implement most suitable technology solution in a manner that satisfies business requirements, enhances user experience, and maximizes technology capabilities.

Digital Transformation

  • Champion digital transformation initiatives by implementing and maintaining DevOps practices.
  • Enhance productivity and reduce total cost of IT ownership through reusability of codes and technology solutions.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of digital solutions, engineering best processes, methodologies across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the software engineering team.

Talent Management

  • Attract, develop, and lead a world-class IT Enterprise applications organization; develop a team culture of innovation, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
  • Monitor resource capacity and demand to ensure optimal resource utilization and project staffing.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where experimentation, learning, and adaptation are encouraged.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide guidance for their professional development.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of the IT engineering team.
  • Define and report on success criteria relevant for organization strategy.
  • Establish and drive improvement plans for non-performing measures.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on defined KPIs, and project status.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a technology related field. Working experience can be substituted for academic experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT Software Management, with minimum of 2 years in an IT leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Strong Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to drive organizational change and alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process standardization, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software, cloud solutions, technology trends, and industry best practices.
  • Fiscal fluency and ability to manage budgets and articulate and demonstrate return on investment for IT

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Certified or desire to be certified in one or more cloud platform

  • Utilize effective frameworks, best practices, and methodologies.

  • Communicate project value propositions to IT and business stakeholders.
