About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead a team of software engineers responsible for the development and evolution of our Goldmine and Horizon platforms.

These applications play a central role in TD SYNNEX’s ecosystem, supporting:

  • pricing and data processing (Goldmine)

  • product and article management, and pricing maintenance (Horizon)

This is not a hands-on coding role, but requires a strong software application background to guide technical decisions and lead the team effectively.

You will manage a team of 8+ engineers working across Java, .NET, Angular, and T-SQL, delivering business-critical solutions used by Category Management, Purchasing, and Profitability teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of software engineers (8+), ensuring performance and engagement

  • Own delivery across Goldmine and Horizon platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities

  • Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions

  • Drive roadmap, prioritization, and execution across multiple application streams

  • Ensure stability, performance, and scalability of pricing and product data systems

  • Provide technical direction and architectural input without being hands-on

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across E-Commerce, Category Management, Purchasing, and Finance

  • Improve processes, ways of working, and delivery efficiency

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager / Engineering Manager / Application Manager

  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support

  • Background in software development (Java, .NET or similar)

  • Experience managing engineering teams in complex environments

  • Strong understanding of data-driven applications (SQL, pricing logic, product data systems)

  • Ability to lead technical teams without being hands-on

  • Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI concepts, with an understanding of how these technologies can be applied to improve IT operations, software delivery, and business outcomes
