JR56659 IT Manager (Application & Automation)

As an IT Manager, you will lead a team of IT professionals, partner IT infrastructure teams to maintain operational health of datacenter, collaborate with workplace IT team to maintain IT communication/conference service, collaboration tools, and team member productivity devices. In this leadership-by-example position, you will be encouraged to lead and develop a robust team that delivers high value portfolio of work, while working with senior management to help define the broader strategies required. The ideal candidate will have the vision to translate business need into system capability while providing the leadership to see solutions through to delivery.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Provide expert architectural, functional and process guidance on approach and capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal technical partners to understand capability needs and to develop efficient solutions.
• Partner with architects to maintain a 3-year roadmap addressing capabilities to enable the department strategic plans.
• Responsible for the operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of Micron’s IT Systems. 
• Lead technical teams for technical evaluation and capacity planning to meet future business/IT needs
• Perform project management duties and communicate timely status to the customers, group, and managers.  

Requirements

• Technical background in Backend Manufacturing Execution and Automation System with SDLC
• Having good understanding of MES systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong interest to work in a dynamic environment.
• Have experience in leading and supporting 24x7 manufacturing facilities
• Creative and effective problem-solving skills using 8D with good conceptual and analytical ability. 
• Excellent project management ability to comprehend customers’ needs, organize, delegate and manage tasks to deliver services that exceed customer expectation
• Should have supported business audits.
• Develop and Manage team of software engineers
• Work within cross-functional teams to drive successful deployments
• Act as the embodiment of the agile attitude; lead teams in iterative product development using lean principles and a quality-first approach to development
