IT Manager Job Description

Overview:
As an IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technology infrastructure and operations within our company. You'll be responsible for managing IT systems, ensuring data security, and supporting business processes. Responsibilities:
System Administration
• Oversee the company's network, servers, and software applications.
• Ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and IT services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
Data Security and Privacy:
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Regularly update antivirus software and firewall settings.
• Conduct risk assessments and address vulnerabilities.
IT Strategy and Planning
• Collaborate with senior management to develop IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions for efficiency and growth.
Vendor Management
• Negotiate contracts with technology vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.
Budgeting and Cost Control
• Develop and manage the IT budget.
• Optimize spending while maintaining quality services.
Project Management
• Lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
User Support
• Provide technical support to employees.
• Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in IT management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Dynamics DAV/Business Central and EDI Technology.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
