The IT Lead will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and
infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security standards. This role
involves leading a team of IT professionals, managing projects and providing technical guidance.
Initially, the IT Lead will also provide L1 support to ensure smooth operations until the team is
fully established.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global IT infrastructure operations across multiple Marmon business units including network, servers, and end-user systems. 
  • Oversee implementation & maintenance of enterprise applications and security controls. 
  • Lead the configuration, optimization, and integration of Microsoft 365 services (All Associated Apps), including advanced account management, security settings, and workflow automation, while delivering proactive guidance and training to users and junior IT staff to drive adoption and productivity. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT solutions meet business needs. 
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards. 
  • Monitor system performance & ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. 
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for adoption. 
  • Provide L1 support for incident resolution and service requests during team ramp-up. 
  • Build and mentor L1 and L2 support teams, ensuring high-quality end-user, network & system support, efficient technical and operational capabilities. 
  • Prepare regular reports on IT performance, risks, and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Tools 

  • 7-10 years in IT infrastructure, networking, and global operations. Experience managing remote teams and multi-site IT environments. 
  • Proven ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed global organization. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational excellence and innovation. 
  • Demonstrated success in leading distributed teams and managing complex IT environments. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on collaboration, transparency, and accountability. 
  • Passion for continuous improvement, digital transformation, and emerging technologies 
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written English communication skills sufficient to effectively support U.S.-based end users via chat, phone, and email. 
  • Able to clearly articulate technical information to non-technical audiences, ensuring understanding and resolution of issues. 
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 to support a global operating model by working aligned with U.S. business hours, including evenings or overnight shifts local to India. 
  • Strong capability to define, extract, analyse & report Service Level Agreement (SLA) and operational performance metrics from the enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM). 
  • Effectively collaborates with onshore US-based stakeholders to interpret trends, highlight risks, and support corrective actions. 

Technical Skills 

  • Network infrastructure, firewalls, L3 switching, and routing 
  • Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Active Directory AWS and Azure cloud environments. 
  • Windows & Linux systems (preferred) 
  • Remote infrastructure troubleshooting 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+; ITIL Foundation. 
  • Microsoft Certified: MD-102 (Modern Desktop Administrator), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. 
  • CCNA / CCNP or equivalent networking certifications are a plus.
