What You’ll Do
This role is a hybrid opportunity, offering 1-2 days Working from home.
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to define the IT risk universe and shape a robust, risk-based IT audit plan
- Lead and continuously evolve the IT audit approach, driving best practice and consistency across the organisation
- Deliver a wide range of IT audit and risk engagements, working closely with Internal Audit colleagues and third-party providers, and embedding data analytics into audit activity
- Design and execute IT audit programmes that assess key business, operational and regulatory risks
- Provide IT risk advice and subject-matter expertise to support projects, system implementations and change initiatives
- Lead IT investigations and post-incident reviews, collaborating with the wider business to strengthen controls and improve risk management quality

- At least 3 years’ experience in IT audit, IT assurance, IT risk or IT security, supported by a third-level qualification in a related discipline (professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL or accountancy qualifications are desirable but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong analytical capability, including the ability to interrogate large volumes of data while maintaining a clear, high-level risk perspective
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence presenting complex information clearly to diverse business audiences
- A collaborative, professional approach with proven ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, coach others and manage sensitive, confidential matters with integrity
- Sound judgement, commercial awareness and a value‑add mindset, demonstrating high ethical standards, diplomacy and accountability in everything you do
