About the Role
As an intern, you will contribute to the operational strengthening of the IT department through documentation, asset management, and improvement projects while progressively developing technical and professional competencies in a real-world environment, with mentors who are invested in your growth.
What you'll be doing:
- Participate in immersion sessions with each IT area (SD, InfoSec, Projects).
- Shadow Service Desk technicians to understand real operational workflows.
- Get familiar with corporate tools: M365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), Jira, and the asset management platform.
- Document shadowing observations and identifying ticket patterns.
- Conduct an asset inventory audit: verify physical existence vs. system records, labeling standards, and equipment reception.
- Review and update outdated technical documents according to standard templates.
- Perform quality checks on ticket closures: verify that resolutions are complete, clear, and properly categorized.
- Standardize onboarding/offboarding checklists for team members.
- Support the scheduling of recurring ISMS/ISO controls.
- Audit the IT documentation universe and classify items as: current / outdated / missing.
- Update the 10–15 critical documents prioritized with your mentor (Windows 11, assessments, case handling, role onboarding).
- Lead an improvement project aligned with some of the following areas like Service Desk, Solutions & Projects or InfoSec/Compliance.
Requirements
- Student in the last 2 semesters or quarters (last 3 quarters for engineering programs) of: Information Systems, Technology / Telematics Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Development, or related IT fields.
- Satisfactory academic standing (criterion validated with the university).
- Ability to fulfill the internship period in accordance with the institutional agreement terms.
- Basic understanding of networking and services (TCP/IP, DNS, core protocols).
- Introductory knowledge of information security concepts (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
- Basic proficiency in M365 tools: Teams, SharePoint, Outlook.
- B2 English proficiency in reading and writing (technical documentation is in professional English).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (desirable, not mandatory).
