As an IT Intern you will be based at our Technology Center, Shah Alam, the heart and pulse of our IT activities, Centers of Excellence and Development.
Main Responsibilities
Executes the work of implementing and supporting the technical solutions implemented in the data lake, as defined by the Data Analyst and validated by the Data Architect.
Focus on the technical configuration aspects (i.e., in the data lake) including data ingestion and integration frameworks.
Support the Data Analysts and Data Scientists in developing optimized data models, pipelines and frameworks
Troubleshoot issues as they arise
Adhere to defined processes and best practices
You will involved in a New or existing project (Ranging from small to big scale) that helps Business on their daily/monthly business operation
Involve in different Project roles from Data ingestion, Data integration, Data modelling, Visualization and Support
Enhancement and support on Azure Data Factory pipeline
Azure Data Factory job support and monitoring for project across different SBU, Function and Region
What learning/training is provided
Opportunity to build and enhance pipeline in Microsoft Azure Data Factory
Opportunity to learn coding language like SQL and Scala in Databricks on Integration frameworks
Opportunity to learn and hands-on with Datawarehouse tool like Snowflake/SQL Endpoint
Opportunity to pick up data modelling skills and data visualization using BI tool like Microsoft Power BI
Opportunity to work in agile environment utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps technology
Collaborate with different roles within different team in different region
Work within strong governance in a global environment
Qualifications
You have at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or any equivalent qualifications.
Excellent writing and spoken English and Mandarin to communicate optimally with partners across Globally.
Strong eye for business, quick learner and good communication skills.
Ability to work with large volumes of data; sort, filter, shift, summarize, error check, etc.
Ability to run basic queries over the data sets to extract information.
Understand the underlying data structures and linkages within sub-set of data.
Independent and collaborative teammate, which comfortable to work as part of a team.
Results driven and able to provide quick feedback and solution.
