You will be based at our Malaysia Technology Center (MYTC), the heart and pulse of our IT activities, Center of Excellence and Development.

Your Responsibilities

• Enthusiastic and passionate about business functions in the science and technology IT domain.
• Understand and practice fundamental day-to-day tasks or projects.
• Engage in best-practices networking with peers from various business functions and Senior Management. Possibility of forming long-term relationships and improving communication and teamwork abilities.
• Identify and implement improvement possibilities within own team and/or with other process teams, such as working on proof-of-concept themes, improvement activities, and generating learning materials.
• Assist the project team with transformation, load, validation of master data and reporting. 
• Participate in system development, integration, testing, deployment, implementation and training.
• Maintain the Global/Regional training documentations and knowledge database up to date.
• Performing relevant support activities as and when required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical, research, and creative abilities.
• Demonstrated communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in English with good communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to articulate in Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in Java, SQL and Data Analytics is a plus.
• Able to attend meetings after hours when necessary.
• Able to commit for a min of 6 months of internship.
