Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Deliver integration solution architectures and detailed solution designs
- Review solution architectures and detailed solution designs developed by other technical leads and architects for integration requirements and make recommendations
- Establish and refine integration best practices for both internal teams and third-party service providers.
- Govern the creation and maintenance of integration standards, templates, and best practices to ensure quality and consistency in delivery.
- Review developed solutions for design conformance, quality, performance, security and scalability Perform code reviews of other’s work as needed
- Collaborate with Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of integration solutions that meet business requirements, staying aligned with corporate initiatives.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members, cultivating an innovative and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure that enterprise integration standards, documentation, and change control processes are followed across the organization.
- Work with the team and Scrum Master to identify and implement improvements in team operations and integration delivery processes.
Hands-On Technical Delivery:
- Design and develop integration mappings, transformations, and processes
- Deliver integration solutions, either directly or through third-party service providers aligned with architectural standards.
- Identify issues in current integration landscape and propose solutions
- Support production incident resolution related to integrations, ensuring timely recovery and minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Build and provide integration specifications for third-party delivery.
Required Competencies:
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results and managing complex projects.
- Deep understanding of the IT and application landscape, including interdependencies with business processes
- An integration expert who has stayed knowledgeable through their career about integration tools, techniques, and approaches
- Strong vendor management skills with ability to hold third parties accountable for quality and timely deliverables.
- Accountability yourself for quality deliverables with urgency and attention to detail
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to achieve common goals.
- Ability to build, maintain, and enforce technical standards and architecture principles.
- Ability to work with others in Solution Design to help enhance or clarify solution design documents
- Ability to manage complexity in large organizations with a diverse system landscape.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Ability and experience in system function design and functional structure decomposition based on user requirements, familiar with common testing methods and techniques.
- Excellent documentation skills with ability to document Integration Solution Designs, sequence diagrams, and to build troubleshooting documentation.
- Functional business acumen to understand and speak to business challenges and processes that that rely on integration is essential
- Passionate about technology, proactive, meticulous, with good communication skills and team spirit, and capable of handling work pressure.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of extensive experience in using and administering EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and enterprise middleware platforms such as OpenText, SAP PI, or similar enterprise integration solutions.
- 5+ Years of experience integrating with large-scale ERP systems like SAP, Dynamics 365, or Workday Financials.
- Over 3 years of relevant development experience in .NET (C#), with good coding habits.
- Proficient in Oracle and SQL Server database development, including SQL statements and stored procedures, with experience in handling large amounts of data.
- Demonstrated expertise in EDI integration with trading partners.
- In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, including X12 and EDIFACT
- Hands-on experience with designing API led architectures and with API development
- Proficiency in using and managing API-first iPaaS platforms like MuleSoft or equivalent.
- Strong experience in developing integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Proven experience working in a global environment with third-party logistics and contract manufacturing.
- Expertise in managing third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong partner collaboration.
- Strong experience in shell scripting is a must.
- Proven experience with supply chain management solutions like Kinaxis RapidResponse, understanding the role of integration in global logistics and third-party partnerships.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Experience in managing value delivery within scrum teams using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Team management experience.
- Familiar with technologies such as C#, WinForm, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Web Service, LINQ, and proficient in using development tools like Visual Studio;
- Familiar with web development technologies including DIV+CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform.
- Knowledge of Big Data integration tools such as Talend.
- Experience with tools like Vertex and Swift.
- Relevant certifications in integration platforms.
- Certification or deep knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework.
Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
