Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Emplify Health is seeking an IT Instructional Designer to join our IT Applications team. In this role, you will help create and deliver engaging Epic training programs that support end users and IT professionals across the organization.
You'll partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop learning solutions that improve technology adoption, user confidence, and overall system effectiveness.
This role ensures clinicians and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use Epic workflows in support of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Designs learning solutions targeted at employees, students, or clients of the organization.
Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that content is accurate and thorough.
Utilizes multiple formats, including print, audio, visual, and multimedia, and selects the appropriate format for the target audience or content.
Evaluates the results of training programs and modified future programs to better meet training goals.
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Monday-Friday core business hours
Hybrid work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only, with regular need to work onsite for support initiatives for training sessions. Must be willing to work onsite in La Crosse, WI or potentially occasionally in Green Bay, WI.

Starting pay of $61,500/year plus more based on relevant work experience
What You'll Need:
Education: Bachelors Degree in IT, Business, Healthcare or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
Ability to develop clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience creating e-learning, online training content, or instructional materials is a plus.
Existing Epic certification preferred
If not already trainer certified in Epic, you will take an Epic class(es) and become certified within 60 days of hire
