Function of the Team – Application Infrastructure
The Application Infrastructure team is technically
responsible for configuring, hosting, supporting, and maintaining the IT
infrastructure of business applications. The team ensures the availability,
performance, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications
across various business domains.
Function of Application Infrastructure Engineer
A System Engineer in the Application Infrastructure team is
responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions for business applications,
including installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting,
and operational support. This role contributes to both project-based
initiatives and day-to-day operations while ensuring reliable and secure
application hosting services.

Profile Requirement
Knowledge and Experience – You have around 10+
years of experience as a System Engineer, preferably across multiple
infrastructure domains. Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server
administration is essential. Experience in application hosting,
infrastructure administration, automation, scripting, and enterprise
application deployment is mandatory.

capabilities.
- Experience
working in both Build and Run environments.
- Understanding
of DNS, networking, and infrastructure integration concepts.
Preferred Skills
- DevOps
principles and source control tools such as Git.
- Docker/Containerization
concepts and container hosting platforms.
- SQL
Server fundamentals.
- Remote
access technologies.
- Experience
supporting large-scale enterprise business applications and middleware
platforms.
Coordination
You act as a point of contact for business and technical
stakeholders regarding application infrastructure requirements. You are
expected to coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams for project
delivery, application onboarding, platform upgrades, incident resolution, and
operational support activities.
Communication
You would be working closely with business users, application owners,
vendors, and technical teams. Strong communication, collaboration, and
stakeholder management skills are therefore essential. Proactive
mindset, enjoy solving problems and can effectively work in a diverse and
multicultural environment is a key to success.
Languages
Must be fluent in English communication (verbal and
written)
Skills Required
- Around 10 or more years of experience as a System Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Linux, specifically RHEL, administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
- Experience in application hosting and infrastructure administration
- Experience configuring, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell automation and scripting
- Experience administering Apache, Tomcat, and IIS
- Knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and infrastructure security best practices
