Ensure effective financial management of IT Infrastructure operations by supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of budgets (OpEx and CapEx), service consumption, and cost drivers. The role aims to guarantee cost transparency, financial accuracy, and compliance, while enabling efficient coordination between IT Infrastructure, Finance, Procurement, and vendors, while enabling data-driven decision-making
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience in Procurement, is also acceptable.
- Desirable: IT Finances related /studies FinOps
Needed experience for the role
- Two to five years working experience in:
- Financial analysis, budgeting, and controlling roles
- IT cost management, IT finance, or technology-related environments (preferred)
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting (OpEx/CapEx), expense tracking, variance analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience managing procurement processes, invoice validation, and vendor coordination.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, Procurement, and international teams.
- Exposure to multinational environments, shared services, or structured financial control frameworks is desirable.
- Participation in audits, compliance processes, or internal controls is a plus.
Desirable Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of IT infrastructure services and related cost drivers (e.g., hosting, servers, networks, hardware, licenses).
- Knowledge of financial management concepts, including OpEx, CapEx, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with financial and procurement systems.
Additional desirable knowledge
- Advanced Excel, data analysis tools and financial modeling
- Procurement platforms. Oracle Saxo preferred
- Data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure architecture (cloud, on-premise, networking, hosting, servers, DB, licenses schemes)
- Knowledge of IT cost drivers and service consumption metrics
- Cost allocation and chargeback methodologies
- FinOps practices for IT and cloud cost optimization is a plus
