JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure that our IT services and systems are robust, secure, and efficient, supporting the growth and operational goals of the company.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and administration of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Monitor Performance: Ensure the optimal performance of IT infrastructure by monitoring system performance, configuring new software and hardware, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Security Management: Partner with the Director of Security, implement and manage security policies and practices to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure from security threats and breaches.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Project Management: Lead infrastructure-related projects, from planning and execution to delivery and post-implementation support.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster their development and ensure the smooth operation of IT services.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and IT service delivery, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong and hands on knowledge of network and systems administration, including experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and storage solutions.
- Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
- In-depth technical knowledge of cloud, network, PC, and platform operating systems.
- Expert knowledge of IT management systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center technologies.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Technologies including cloud technologies.
- Experience with Azure.
- Proven Active Directory and PowerShell scripting abilities.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Security Expertise: Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols, including the implementation of security measures and risk management strategies.
- Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within scope, time, and budget.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, hands-on and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in supervising and developing IT teams.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- The role of IT Infrastructure Manager is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements to work outside standard business hours to address critical issues or perform maintenance tasks.
- The role may also involve travel to other company locations or vendor sites as needed.
