Arxada is looking for an IT Infrastructure Lead in Switzerland to drive the strategy, design, and operation of the company’s global IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across all sites.

Essential Job Functions:

• As a flexible IT Infrastructure Manager, you will build, maintain and develop digital capabilities to support local productivity improvement projects.

• Technologically lead of all infrastructure services for IT/OT including servers, Operating System builds, databases, storage, hosting, configuration management, asset lifecycle, virtualization, cloud solutions, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver robust solutions that align with business objectives.

• Combine a strong understanding of cloud technologies, data center infrastructure and architectural principles to create scalable, secure, and efficient environments.

• Develop high-level technical solutions, sustainable processes and standards in order to drive automation opportunities to improve the quality and stability of processes.

• Drive standardization, centralization and digitalization projects

• Support Automation projects by assisting with the conceptual design

• Monitor and assess cyber security threats and define remediation activities;

• Support the local site in maintaining hardware, software and automation systems;

• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support;

• Actively manage 3rd party vendor(s), local suppliers and providers to ensure they are meeting services levels (requirements and quality) and aligning to Arxada standards, e. g., security, architecture, quality;

• Conduct audits and assessments on the site;

• Act as a coordinator between OT/IT and the Digital delivery team

Documentation 

• Develops and maintains documentation related to all assigned systems and use cases  

• Owns local processes and documentation like disaster recovery plans & internal/external IT Infrastructure audit.

• Use ServiceNow to document problems for both OT and IT; plan to create an OT SNOW group in the future 

• Use LSI Local IT/OT Infrastructure SharePoint and OneNote as repository for documentation 

• Use Jira board to track progress on projects 

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 plus years of experience - IT/OT Infrastructure Manager to support operational and information technology.

• Technical lead of all infrastructure services for IT/OT. Servers, operating system builds, and databases.

• Storage, hosting, and configuration management.

• IT Asset lifecycle, virtualization, cloud solutions.

• Backups and disaster recovery.

• Fluent in German and English language

• GxP, SOX, GDPR Audit knowledge will be advantage
