We design, implement, and continuously evolve modern, resilient IT landscape—spanning everything from industrial automation (PLCs) to enterprise platforms (ERP) and cloud-based solutions.
As part of a globally connected organization, you will collaborate closely with Integrated Production Teams (IPTs), Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and global Business Technology teams to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable infrastructure services.

Purpose of the role
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key enabler of a stable, secure, and future-ready technology environment that supports critical business and production processes. You will ensure the reliability and compliance of infrastructure services while continuously driving innovation, performance improvements, and operational excellence.
Working at the intersection of technology and business, you will partner with global teams and local stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet both operational and regulatory requirements. You will also play an active role in advancing automation and AI-driven IT operations, helping transition from reactive support to predictive, data-driven infrastructure management.
Main responsibilities
- Support and deliver local business-driven IT infrastructure projects
- Contribute to global infrastructure initiatives, including implementations and upgrades
- Drive lifecycle management and infrastructure refresh programs
- Ensure high availability, performance, and user satisfaction across infrastructure services
- Collaborate with workplace support teams to resolve technical issues effectively
- Provide advanced support for complex incidents and service requests
- Maintain strong alignment with SLAs and global service standards
- Participate in global project teams delivering regional and global improvements
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or service environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITIL or equivalent)
- Proven experience in project delivery within IT environments
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies (networking, systems, workplace technologies)
- Customer-focused mindset with a structured and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
- Experience or interest in AI, automation, or data-driven IT operations (AIOps)
- Relevant Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications
