Introduction to the Job
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at ASML, you will help design, implement, and maintain reliable infrastructure solutions that power ASML’s advanced semiconductor technology. Your work ensures the scalability and performance of global IT platforms, supporting seamless operations across data centers, networks, and cloud environments. This position is part of ASML’s Core IT Services team, which delivers essential infrastructure and workplace support to thousands of employees worldwide.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining secure, high-performing infrastructure systems. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities include:
Design and implement infrastructure solutions for servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and capacity using best practices.
Automate deployments and configuration management with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with security standards and collaborate on vulnerability management and patching.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated infrastructure issues and assist cross-functional teams.
Maintain clear documentation of designs, procedures, and architectural decisions.
Participate in governance forums and change advisory boards.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering within a global enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), virtualization (VMware), and server administration (Windows/Linux).
Familiarity with enterprise networking, storage systems, and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog).
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent.
