Our core values: care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration - combined with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities - are important drivers in our goal to enable everyone to create sustainable solutions. This is our story. Make it your story.
Your role and tasks
Does your knowledge and professional interest lie at the intersection of IT, processes, and business? Then we have the perfect job for you. At ABB, we are among the world’s leading companies in electrification. Our technologies control power plants, train stations, electricity in hospitals, chargers for electric cars, and a thousand other things.
To maintain our lead, we need to be just as good at managing our finances and projects as we are at developing technologies – and that’s where you come in! Together with ten skilled and highly experienced colleagues, you will be the link between IT and the business. Your focus will be on local implementation and adaptation of global IT solutions, primarily in SAP. This includes developing and/or optimizing processes as well as providing support to the business. We promise you the opportunity to deliver results and make a positive difference for many colleagues and for the bottom line.
In the coming years, your work will primarily be in our existing SAP ECC 6.0 system, which is a regional system operated together with ABB in Sweden. In the longer term, you will have the opportunity to be part of the journey toward new global SAP S/4HANA systems, which will replace our current system.
Your new workplace will be ABB’s brand-new offices in Middelfart. Here, you’ll join ten skilled and experienced colleagues who share your focus, providing great opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. There is also the option to work from your home office a few days a week.
Additionally, you can look forward to joining a company that is truly a great place to work and is ready to invest in you and your development.
Your initial focus areas will be Finance and Controlling.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide support for the existing ERP system
- Act as the local team’s representative for the implementation of new global SAP S/4HANA systems
- Lead the Super User forum with business representatives and prepare detailed requirement specifications for developers/programmers
- Evaluate developer solutions, perform testing and optimization, implement changes, and ensure follow-up
- Analyze and optimize processes – and develop new ones when needed
- Support new analytical tools and introduce fresh knowledge and best practices to the team
Qualifications for the role
- A higher education degree providing a solid analytical foundation
- Several years of experience in a similar role, with process optimization as a key focus
- IT-oriented experience with finance in a large organization
- Solid technological understanding and motivation to develop your skills within the SAP ecosystem
- Service-minded approach – open, supportive, and collaborative
- Motivation to engage with diverse stakeholders and thrive as part of a team
- Good communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken
