Job Description:
Job Summary: This internship provides a hands-on opportunity for a student or recent graduate to join our IT Business Intelligence (BI) team and contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven financial insights and reporting solutions. The intern will assist in the design, analysis, and visualization of financial data with a focus on leveraging advanced analytics tools and automation platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Python, and Excel. Projects may include building financial models, streamline reporting workflows, and support strategic decision-making through predictive analytics and scenario planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support reporting and contributing to the development of clear and actionable insights.
They will also help build and refine data visualizations and automated workflows while applying classroom knowledge to practical business challenges in a collaborative team environment.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma
Skills and Abilities:
Possess understanding in areas such as business information systems, data analytics, statistics, financial accounting, and managerial finance.
Familiarity with spreadsheet modeling, data visualization, and basic programming concepts is beneficial.
Skills in interpreting financial data, building dashboards, and understanding key performance indicators (KPIs) are highly valued.
Exposure to business case analysis, forecasting techniques, and decision support tools will help interns contribute meaningfully to project work.
A strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication will support success in this role.
