PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Key responsibilities and tasks that the role performs)
- Financial Controls, Governance and Management: Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process specifically for high-value IT vendors (AWS, SaaS providers, hardware OEMs).
- Budget vs. Actual (BVA) Analysis: Provide granular variance analysis on IT projects, identifying cost overruns before they plateau or become systemic issues.
- Unit Cost Modeling: Develop models to track the "cost to serve," helping the organization understand the financial impact of specific technology stacks, infrastructure or projects.
- Contract Optimization: Work with procurement to review commercial terms in Master Agreements to ensure they align with the BNM/DTS strategic tech spending & goals.
- Contract Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary financial lead for reconciling billing discrepancies with major cloud and infrastructure partners.
- Engage and collaborate with the Bank’s Finance Department and Strategic Management Department as key partners for determining the Bank’s operating plan priorities and the resulting strategy, based on how those factors may affect the department’s performance and the Bank’s overall technology strategies
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s financial operations.
- Able to prepare financial analysis and highlight potential opportunities and adversaries from the Bank’s financial position and performance.
- Ability to identify areas that require improvements and recommend strategies to address them
- Work collaboratively with all sections in DTS, JKW and relevant line departments in the Bank to ensure efficiency and cooperation at a higher level.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Certification (mandatory ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification).
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
1. Preferably 7 years working experience in related financial fields with preferred background experience on IT specific finance.
2. Prior experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting and corporate accounting systems such as SAP would be an added advantage.
3. High competence in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and advanced Excel for deterministic financial modelling.
4. Experience within a technology environment is highly preferred.
Skills Required
- ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
- Preferably 7 years of experience in related financial fields
- Experience in IT-specific finance
- Experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and corporate accounting systems
- Experience with SAP
- High competence in ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for deterministic financial modeling
