The PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Field Engineer to join our technical team. The IT Field Engineer is a critical, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the optimal implementation, performance and reliability of our IT SW & HW products across various client or branch locations. This position involves frequent travel to provide on-site and remote technical support, including the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking equipment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to end-users.
Your Impact:Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at client/branch locations.
Install, configure, and maintain Roche digital products, computer systems, network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve complex networking connectivity issues, system failures, and application problems.
Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and health checks to minimize downtime.
Document all service and repair actions accurately and timely using our reporting system.
Manage local inventories of IT equipment and spare parts.
You hold a degree in computer science
The experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or dedicated Field Engineer role.
Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common business applications.
Strong practical knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
Relevant certifications (e.g., SQL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications) are a strong plus.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a willingness to travel.
