$40.30 - $60.45

Major Responsibilities:

  • ​​Manages the development and execution of healthcare information technology demands and projects. Ensures adherence to budget, schedule and scope and business needs using established Enterprise Project Management Office processes and standards. Establishes targets, benchmarks, and success criteria for project delivery and plans, organizes, controls, and evaluates projects from initiation to implementation. Work with IT Owners to effectively utilize all project resources, people, and equipment, through all phases of the demand or project to achieve goals and objectives.​  ​​Holds vendors/vendor resources accountable to meet agreed upon deliverables.​  
  • ​​Develops project demands based on the initial idea request. Captures information such as stakeholders, objectives, requirements, desired dates, milestones, budget estimates, and resource needs. Captures, seeks to eliminate, and monitors risk throughout the approval life cycle. Captures decisions or assumptions made, issues identified, and records actions taken. Monitors and reviews demand approval progress 
  • ​​Prepares and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and financial records​. ​​Understands how to align and prioritize projects and demands on a multi-year technology investment roadmap. ​​Collaborates with Information Technology teams to ensure solution compliance with approved enterprise technical direction and architectural practices. ​   
  • Develops strategic project plans including information such as project objectives, requirements, scheduling, milestones, budget management, resource management, risk management, and change management. Continuous tracking of deliverables to project objectives. Actively identifies, mitigates, and tracks potential risks during the entire project lifecycle and manages the execution of mitigation plans when triggered. Captures decisions made and records actions taken.  
  • Manages changes in project scope, schedule, and budget using established change control processes.​ ​May need to organize and/or join site visits, create site layouts, and determine the placement of equipment and infrastructure, as necessary. 
  • ​Monitors, reviews, and documents progress towards project milestones and deliverables, actively evaluating the quality of work. Leads project team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve problems leveraging project management expertise and best practices. 
  • Sets and continually manages expectations with all stakeholders. Establishes a clear Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) matrix, escalation path, and holds team members accountable. Establishes and executes timely communication plans, keeping all stakeholders abreast of variances and deviations to plan. Produces routine status reports and executive reports as needed. and holds regular status meetings. Leads daily work efforts, assigning duties and responsibilities to demand and/or project team members. Acts as a resource to other teammates regarding demand subject matter or project management methodologies.​  
  • Conducts post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned sessions to assess project outcomes, ensure benefits and quality standards are met, and capture key insights. Contributes lessons learned to the Organization’s Process Assets (OPA’s) and knowledge base.​ Ensures accurate, complete, and well-planned changes into production, following all change guidelines. Contributes toward achieving department performance Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) goals.  
  • ​Maintains documented processes, techniques, and tools that are part of the demand and project management methodology. Responsible for identifying and implementing changes based on best practices to improve the methodology. Keeps abreast of the latest strategies and trends and implements changes to increase productivity, as needed. ​  

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Must demonstrate language competency through successful completion of appropriate language assessment. National medical interpreter certification preferred 

Education Required:

  • ​Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience required (or equivalent knowledge) in Information Technology or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 to 6 years. Experience in project management in Information Technology with a proven record of successful project delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include demand and project management, while coordinating and motivating teammates toward common goals. Ability to establish goals, milestones, and priorities, and to instruct, guide, assign, advise/ mentor project teams and Associate level project managers.​  
  • Proven ability for risk identification, assessment, and contingency planning.​  
  • ​​Proficient in the use of project management methodologies and processes.​  
  • ​​Experience in Microsoft O365 and Strategic Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.​  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate and present complex concepts.​  
  • Proven ability to influence without authority.​  
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a focus on delivery of key project objectives.  
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels.  
  • Facilitation and persuasion skills with ability to influence others, especially executive leaders.  
  • Willingness to build and foster relationships both internal and external to the organization.  
  • Educates demand and/or project team members on project management methodologies and approaches.  
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.  
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to facilitate creative long-term solutions.  

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, as a result, exposure to varying weather and road conditions. ​​ 
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.​ 
  • Exposed to a normal office environment as well as clinical environments.​ 
  • Evening or weekend hours may be required on occasion dependent upon project requirements​
