In our new agile landscape, we are looking for an enterprise architect who can support our digital transformation. The candidate we are looking for has a passion for architecture. Daily you will join our agile teams to support them by delivering solutions in support of our stakeholders.

The ideal architect can work with the legacy that we already have and bring innovative ideas to transform and improve our systems.

A willingness to work with a big organization and handle the challenges that come with the multiple structures is key for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

Define the architecture vision

• Contribute to define and maintain IS strategic plan
• Define and maintain (at given level) architecture strategy and roadmap and its alignment with business priorities and needs
• Identify potential business value that could be supported by IT endeavors
• Monitor the emerging technologies and conduct technology watch studies

Design reference architecture

• Build and maintain architecture framework (guidelines, standards, and principles) in compliance with Group architecture framework
• Promote the architecture framework driven by architecture value proposition
• Provide and maintain architecture references
• Contribute to the evolution of Group architecture framework in collaboration with the other architects and stakeholders

Government and control of architecture

• Challenge project initiatives and evaluate compliance with architecture strategy
• Contribute to organization of architecture committees
• Contribute to project assessment in a collaborative way, validation, and selection
• Contribute to the architecture validation according to business requirements, IT standards and architecture framework

Design solution

• Contribute to impact analysis and studies about business needs and architecture enhancements/evolutions
• Challenge projects teams and experts about architecture layers of solutions
• Develop recommendations to cope with requirements (availability, performance, etc.)

Miscellaneous

• Facilitate transfer of knowledge, experience, and best practices within architecture teams
• Promote, communicate and share architecture guidelines, standards, and principles within expert communities
• Contribute to strategic studies and IS level topics
• Share IS knowledge and maintain information in the associated tools

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• 4 years Architecture responsibilities in large, sophisticated organization with high volume/high transaction environment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms
• Able to design architectures and frameworks
• Be able to document and address organization's data structure, solution architecture, and systems requirements throughout the full life cycle
• ArchiMate designs
• Experience with mobile apps and websites
• Broad proven business knowledge
• Previous experience with organizations that use mainframes (no in-depth mainframe knowledge required, but awareness of the ins and outs)
• English - Fluent writing and speaking
• TOGAF Certification
• GDPR
• Ability to be a liaison between business, management, IT and other stakeholders
• Be able to identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders
• Be an excellent communicator and have excellent listening skills
• Quick self-starter, pro-active and team player attitude
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
