We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient IT Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in finance or fintech. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems engineering, cloud technologies, and automation, with a self-starter mindset and a passion for secure, scalable infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Server and Unix/Linux environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
- Design and support cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC configurations.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure, preferably with Cisco technologies.
- Collaborate with security and development teams to ensure compliance and performance.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT engineering within finance or fintech environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Unix/Linux administration and scripting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
Preference Given to those with:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- a Cisco Certification (CCNA or higher).
- an AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent).
- Knowledge of financial industry security and compliance standards.
Where You'll Work:
This position is based in-office at our new NYC Headquarters (100 Park Avenue, 15th Fl).
