IT Engineer

Stream is looking for an IT Engineer in Amsterdam (on-site)

A typical day includes assisting colleagues in support requests. Managing and configuring laptops and/or software and proactively looking for improvements in existing processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Configure laptops for new and current employees

• Manage the inventory of all company owned electronic assets

• Perform local/remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

• Manage the baseline configuration of laptops via Remote Management (JAMF)

• Manage access of SaaS applications used internally

• Manage and monitor the office network (Cisco Meraki)

• Work alongside the Security department to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC2 Type II

• Continuously and actively look for ways to improve processes, procedures, and documentation

• Partner closely with the People Team as a major part of onboarding and offboarding processes

• Partner closely with Office Manager on day to day office operations

Some projects you will work on include:

• Assist with finalizing our Amsterdam office expansion by setting up and configuring workstations, managing cables and monitoring network infrastructure, etc.

• Ensure the correct execution of the onboarding and off boarding process

• Manage and configure SaaS applications used by the different teams

• Management and provisioning of company’s IT assets

• Ensure the proper functioning of the office network

You have

• Hands-on experience and in depth knowledge of macOS and iOS

• Hands-on experience with Zoom and Logitech Web Conferencing hardware

• In depth understanding of Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password (or similar password vault)

• In depth knowledge of Remote Management (RMM) solutions & best practices

• In depth knowledge of Inventory Management and Asset Tracking

• Experience with Cisco Meraki networking equipment

• Experience providing support in regards to IT and solve related issues (office & remote)

• Experience in planning and executing changes of location, should it be needed

Bonus points

• Base Security knowledge

• Startup experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Network switches and setup of physical cabling

• Interest in expanding the knowledge towards DevOps or Security
