HUMAN is seeking an IT Engineer to join our team!
In this role, reporting to the IT department, you will provide personalized support to all HUMAN employees. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll have the chance to operate independently, manage technical procurement, implement innovative tools, and contribute to projects that drive scalable improvements across our expanding organization. This position is essential in enhancing the employee experience and supporting our success as a globally distributed company.
What you'll do:
- Streamline processes, improve workforce IT experience, and reduce IT workload through implementation of automation systems and ongoing IT project-based work.
- Support and maintain critical SaaS tools (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and troubleshoot HUMAN-provided hardware (macOS, Windows OS, and peripherals), maintaining detailed user and admin IT documentation
- Walk through problem-solving processes with HUMAN employees, conducting follow up to ensure issues have been resolved
- Provide technical assistance and support to incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Provisioning/deprovisioning for employee asserts and accounts
- Asset inventory: Track and manage the distribution of IT assets. Ensure all equipment is properly updated, documented and accounted for.
- Helpdesk support: Provide in-person support to end users for technical issues, setup and maintain internal IT assets like printers, zoom rooms, monitors.
Who you are:
- Experienced in implementing IT automation technologies (e.g., BetterCloud).
- Skilled in IT desktop support within a rapidly growing organization, ideally with a multi-national or distributed workforce of 250 to 1500 employees.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Proven track record in supporting Apple systems and software.
- Familiar with shell script execution and IT troubleshooting, Have experience in network management.
- Knowledgeable in provisioning and endpoint management tools (e.g., DEP, JSS).
- Passionate about delivering empathetic customer service with strong communication skills.
- Act as a versatile problem-solver, adapting to various IT challenges across systems, applications, and user support with a proactive, hands-on approach.
