As an IT Engineer II - Storage and Backup here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise storage and backup solutions. You will work with advanced technologies including NAS, SAN backup, NetApp, Nasuni, HPE Alletra, Qumulo, Rubrik, NBU, and Commvault to ensure data availability, integrity, and security across the organization.
You will report directly to our IT Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix/Charlotte location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our critical data storage and backup infrastructure, enabling seamless data access and disaster recovery capabilities that support business continuity and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and support enterprise NAS and SAN storage systems including NetApp, Nasuni, HPE Alletra, and Qumulo platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Rubrik, NetBackup (NBU), and Commvault technologies.
• Monitor storage and backup system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support data protection strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain documentation of storage and backup environments, procedures, and policies.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 3+ years of experience in storage and backup administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of NAS and SAN storage technologies and platforms including NetApp, Nasuni, HPE Alletra, and Qumulo.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Rubrik, NetBackup (NBU), and Commvault, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in storage system performance tuning, capacity planning, and data protection best practices.
